The Arcwize Pride Series

Pride is often discussed through the language of celebration. But behind every celebration lies a history, and behind every history lies a set of institutions, beliefs, and decisions that shaped the world we inherited.

This June, Arcwize will publish a four part series exploring sexuality, identity, and belonging through the lenses of law, history, religion, and culture.

We'll examine how legal systems have regulated queer lives, how colonialism shaped modern attitudes toward sexuality, how religious texts have been interpreted throughout history, and how a movement rooted in resistance became a global cultural phenomenon.

Rather than asking what Pride means, this series asks how we arrived here.

Because understanding any issue requires more than taking a side. It requires understanding the forces that shaped it.

This series is an invitation to do exactly that.
